More About Me
Founder and Lead Consultant
Brandon Mustful
When I was finishing my undergraduate studies, I interned at the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. I had the opportunity to launch a career there, but instead I chose a different path—I joined the Peace Corps. For 27 months, I served in rural Paraguay, where I wanted to make a meaningful, direct impact in people’s lives while strengthening my community.
That decision set me on a lifelong path of service and community building. Since then, I have worked with organizations including the Salvation Army, Great River Rescue, and Northwoods Habitat for Humanity. In these roles, I gained experience in fundraising, stabilizing operations, recruiting and training volunteers, developing boards, strategic planning, public relations, social media and marketing, and employee development.
In late 2021, I founded Mustful Strategic Consulting to guide nonprofit organizations and churches through strategic planning. I believe that creating and implementing a strategic plan is one of the most valuable things an organization can do to maximize its impact. Today, my services have expanded to support nonprofits, public agencies, businesses, and churches.
Based in Bemidji, Minnesota, I provide in-person services throughout the region and also offer remote consulting to organizations across the country. Wherever you’re located, I’m committed to serving others by using my skills and experiences to help organizations grow, thrive, and make a greater impact on the people they serve.
Let’s connect and explore how we can partner to strengthen your organization and community.
